How do I create an account?

Visit numberandwords.xyz or download Number & Words from the App Store. Tap "Get Started" and sign up with your email address. Accounts must be created by a parent or guardian aged 18 or over.

How do I reset my password?

On the sign-in screen, tap "Forgot password?" and enter your email. You'll receive a reset link within a few minutes. Check your spam folder if it doesn't arrive.

What year levels and subjects are covered?

Years 3, 5, 7, and 9 across Numeracy, Reading, and Language Conventions. Writing tasks are available for Years 5, 7, and 9.

Is the content aligned with the Australian Curriculum?

Our questions are AI-generated to align with the Australian Curriculum. Number & Words is an independent product and is not affiliated with ACARA or any state/territory education department.

Billing & subscriptions

How do subscriptions work?

Subscriptions are billed annually in Australian Dollars (AUD). You can subscribe to a single year level ($49/year) or all year levels ($199/year). Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Web subscribers: sign in, go to Settings, and click "Manage Subscription". iOS subscribers: go to Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions on your device.

Can I get a refund?

Web purchases: refunds are available within 14 days if fewer than 10 practice sessions have been completed. iOS purchases: refunds are handled by Apple through their standard process at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Technical

The app is not loading or crashing

Make sure you're running the latest version from the App Store. Try closing and reopening the app, or restarting your device. If the issue persists, email us with your device model and iOS version.

How do I delete my account and data?

Go to Settings in the app and tap "Delete Account", or email speak2vb@gmail.com. We'll delete all your personal data within 30 days.
